LATEST NEWS

19th of July 2010 Friday afternoon, the 16th of July, the paddock of the Chimay circuit had filled up with classic racebikes and anything that comes with that. Like a happy crowd and riders quivering to join the first free training session. We trained with the reborn 750 Ducati first. It did start very easy, but it seized even quicker. 300 meters, we had just enough speed to enter the run out of the first corner. Disappointed we watched the rest of the outfits happilly go round. We enjoyed our second chance with the Guzzi. With the new handgrips everthing fell in place. It took a few hours working for the Ducati to be ready for Saturdays time training. Some time remained to join our friends in the cafe du Circuit for a Belgium pint.

With two training sessions and one race with the Ducati on the Saturday and the three other races on the Sunday our activities were evenly spread over the weekend. Working on the outfits during these days only consisted of checking oil levels, brakes discs and pads and other usefull checks, so enough time remained for chatting, looking at other races and other useful things one does at the races. The weather one could not complain about. The closed park was even warm in the sun, but with un umbrella girl and lad we had no problem keeping our heads cool! (pictures our to follow...)

With the Ducati we finished sixth and fifth and with the Guzzi thurteenth and tenth. Satisfied we look back on a great racing weekend. And even though we go round the track with the Guzzi 9 seconds faster then with the ducati, the descent with the continental outfit on the duc is still a little more spectacular!
